Anil Kumble will miss Bangalore Royal Challengers opening game against Kolkata Knight Riders due to his ongoing groin injury. Kumble missed India’s final test against South Africa due to the problem and will most certainly miss this game.
It comes at a time when Bangalore have already have problems with missing players such as Dale Steyn, Misbah-Ul-Haq and Abdul Razzaq all missing due to other commitments. However Jacques Kallis and Mark Boucher are available to start despite fears of them having to leave to play in a tournament at home.
